Value of Education in Images - Part 3 (Images 7 and 8)

The series of eight pictures is designed to show the value of education, and is presented in 3 files for easy download in areas with slow internet access.

This is File 3 of 3, and contains images 7 and 8.

The series starts with an image of children from a poor family who are not enrolled in school. However, through a village meeting, the parents are encouraged to register their children for school. The students progress through grade 12 and find employment, improving the standard of living for themselves and their family.

These images were conceptualised and commissioned by Schools for Children of Cambodia and produced by Our Books (http://www.siewphewyeung.org.kh).

We welcome other parties to make use of these images, but ask that credit be given to the developers. Thank you.

Construction Manual - June 2009 - English

The Construction Manual sets out the standardised procedures and best-practice guidelines for implementing a school build project under SCC's Primary School Development Programme. The first part of the document outlines the background to and context of school build projects, followed by detail relating to planning, selecting contractors, engaging communities and School Support Commitees (SSCs), and monitoring construction.
